‘Luxembourg Dialogues

To celebrate 75 years of India Luxembourg diplomatic relations, IBCL shall launch Bi-annual edition of its signature event, ‘Luxembourg Dialogues‘ on June 14th, from 17h30 to 19h30 hrs followed by networking. Assembly starts from 17h00.

Keynote Address: ‘EU-India FTA: Scope, Potentials and Progress’ by Chief Guest and the Economic Adviser, Embassy of India to EU, Belgium and Luxembourg, N Ashok Kumar.

President’s Address: ‘India – Braving the Global & Local Headwinds’ by Aditya Sharma, IBCL

Panel Discussions – International (EU) and National (LU)

International Panel (EU) Panel, ‘Economic headwinds on international trade and the response from Industry’ shall discuss the upcoming FTA between EU – India, its impact on financial markets and corporate profitability, with particular focus on Luxembourg.
In addition, macro issues such as ongoing geopolitics and its impact on Strategy, Energy, Economy, Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Education shall be touched upon. The session shall be moderated by Aditya Sharma, President IBCL.

The National Panel (LU) Panel, ‘Revisiting India-Luxembourg economic system to boost trade’ would cover the specific issues of Luxembourg – India trade, services and sector specific growth, including status of statutory social-contributions in inter country transfers.

The event shall focus on the macro issues such as ongoing geopolitics and its impact on Strategy, Energy, Economy, Sustainable Development, Climate change decisions across Industries. There shall be an additional track to review and discuss the upcoming FTA between EU – India, its impact on financial markets and corporate profitability, with particular focus on Luxembourg.

We invite nomination from policy makers and leading entrepreneurs from EU and India to address the audience. We shall also look forward to partnering with the leading media houses and the fellow Chamber of Commerce for the event.
