Vijay Goyal, executive vice president of ArcelorMittal, is chief executive officer of the business segment with responsibilities over ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine and the joint venture ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Jubail (AMTPJ). He has been a member of the group management committee since October 2016
Vijay joined Mittal Steel in 1999, working in various positions in the finance function. In 2007, he became chief financial officer and head of strategy for Long Carbon Europe, followed by his appointment as chief financial officer and head of central supply chain for Flat Carbon Europe in mid-2008. From 2014 to 2016, Vijay was chief financial officer of ArcelorMittal Europe and additionally in charge of legal, IT and Shared Service Centre Europe (SSCE), before being appointed chief executive officer ArcelorMittal Downstream Solutions.
In his most recent role, which he had held since February 2019, Vijay led on several strategic projects, including the acquisition of Essar Steel India with our joint venture partner Nippon Steel, to create ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS) India.
Vijay graduated from St Xavier’s College, Calcutta. He is a chartered accountant and cost and works accountant from respected institutes in India. He has also completed executive education at the Wharton Business School.
Vijay is very active at the Indian Diaspora in Luxembourg with business and cultural organizations and is founder member of ICAI Chapter in Luxembourg and member of Indian Association among others.

He is also actively involved in advising many large companies and mentoring many scale-ups and helping them in developing business strategy and operational plans.
Mr. Bali holds an Engineering degree from the Punjab technical university, India and he graduated from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, India with a Master’s in Business Administration. Quite recently certified from Saïd Business School, the University of Oxford in the Fintech program.

For more than ten years, he was a Senior Client Partner and Managing Director responsible for the activities of a leading global executive search firm and made its Luxembourg office one of the most successful offices of the firm worldwide.
He was a core member of the firm’s wealth management leadership team. In addition, he oversaw the firm’s Asset and Wealth Management activities in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.
Over more than two decades, Mr. Dedenbach has developed outstanding knowledge of board and corporate governance matters and is recognized as international expert in board and executive compensation. He is a Board Member of the Luxembourg Institute of Directors, Member of the Remuneration Committee and an active member of the business community. Prior to joining the executive search business, Mr. Dedenbach worked in international wealth management. He started his professional career with German industrial giant Krupp.
Mr. Dedenbach holds a degree from the European Bank Academy. He graduated from Bonn University, Germany with a Master's degree in modern languages and literature. He studied as well in Paris/France and Siena/Italy.
